What does tiporsub cost?
There is no monthly fee. tiporsub takes 4.5% of each payment, plus card processing of 2.9% + $0.30. Supporters can cover both fees with one checkbox, which is ticked by default, so the creator receives the full amount.
Do supporters need an account?
No. Supporters never create an account. They pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay and are done in a few taps. Subscriptions are managed from a link emailed with the receipt, with no password.
How long until I get paid?
Each payment clears for 7 days, then transfers automatically to your own Stripe account and pays out on Stripe's schedule. Every clearing payment shows its exact release date in your dashboard from the moment it arrives.
Can supporters pause a subscription instead of cancelling?
Yes. Supporters can pause for one or three months, or cancel, from the link in their receipt. Paused supporters usually come back; cancelled ones usually do not.
